This multimedia art cabaret, founded by musicians, is an eclectic and ultra cool place. It’s located in the historic Village Gate. The live music scene can vary drastically from night to night (due to its flexible interior architecture, engineered by John Storyk), the decor is a site worthy of just the visit, and the drinks will keep you chatting all night long, or dancing (depending on the night’s entertainment), with your buddies. Live entertainment has sported artists such as Moby, Lou Reed, Paul Simon, They Might Be Giants, and Andrew WK among many others.

The menu has an interesting offer. The $5 menu consists of Prawn Chips, Tater Tots, PB&J, and Grilled Cheese. Appetizers and dishes range from $7 to $16 and include Nachos, Quesadillas, California Crab Wraps, Asian Salad, Pizzas, and Chicken Satay. Dessert gets even better! Cookies & Milk, or Chocolate Brownie. Cocktails are $12 a pop and include fun numbers such as The Zombie Hunter, Dirty Colonel, The Bait, and Peach.I Could Eat A Peach For Hours.

Don’t Tell Mama
25 years of cabaret, comedy, and camaraderie. Don’t Tell Mama, the world famous piano bar named after a song in Cabaret, showcases live music every night. Jazz, Broadway, pop, classical, and rock, there is always something that will please everybody. The open mic piano bar, open 7 nights a week, will let you and even frequent celebrities (who stop by often) sing a tune! It starts Sundays at 8 PM, and Mondays through Saturdays beginning at 9 PM. Happy hour runs daily from 4 to 9 PM, while live piano music starts at 5 PM. The restaurant sports great New American Cuisine, with fresh market ingredients used in their dishes. Lunch ranges from $10 per person and dinner at $22. The bar offers a good variety of finger snacks, sandwiches, pizza, and sweets. Shows and Reservations are posted in their online calendar. Hudson Terrace
Located on the rooftop of a second floor, this transformed horse stable, became home to a lounge that allows guests watch the sunset in style. Hudson Terrace holds two special ambiances. The Salon, located on the second floor, can accommodate up to 400 guests for an incredible party, or it can turn into an intimate place for a lunch or dinner rendezvous. The Garden Terrace holds up to 150 guests, and is the perfect place for brunches, meetings, and dinner parties.

Decked out in white leather couches and pink drinks, get ready for the heat to turn up in its South Beach ambiance, carefully mixing new and old decorative elements. Drop by on Sundays for brunch and stick around for afternoon drinks. Customized menus are available upon request.

Jazz Standard
Nestled in the basement of the Blue Smoke restaurant, this swanky club serves the jazz-loving crowd all in a class of its own. Southern cooking is featured, courtesy of the upstairs restaurant – (give the Blue Smoke’s original ale, or one of their 25 tequilas offered a try). This generously spacious spot gives you comfortable seats to lounge on, with excellent views of the stage, so you won’t miss a note of the best jazz performers around! Jazz Standard opens Mondays through Wednesdays (11:30 AM – 11:00 PM), Thursdays and Fridays (11:30 AM – 1 AM), Saturdays (Noon – 1 AM), and Sundays (Noon – 11 PM).

Sundays are very special, so don’t miss out. The Jazz Standard Orchestra (JSYO) plays, conducted by David O’Rourke. Instead of a cover fee, guests donate $5 which goes towards the Jazz Standard Discovery Program. Doors open at 1 PM, and lunch is available for both adults and kids.

Solas
Opened in 1998, Solas is the spot to your groove on with a solid mix of deep house, acid jazz, and trip-hop. If you need to take a break from the dancing and the crowd, swing by the adjacent Red Room, surrounded by candles and crimson walls. This place used to be the infamous Cafe Tabac, where Madonna waitressed prior to her glory days.

Sangrias, mojitos, and margaritas go for $5. Open every day of the week from 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM. Happy hour is daily from 4 PM to 8 PM.
